Hi Guys!,

After downloading todays updates and immunising I found 5 items remained 'Unprotected' I re-checked and also 'Undid' but still the 5 items remain unprotected. I even closed my browser down (IE7) and tried all the above again.. but to no avail!!

After immunisation:

Unprotected 5

Protected 54477

Total 54482

Any ideas why this should be?

Thanks,

Curlydave.

I have the same problem. Except that I only have 4 that won't immunize. They are all listed as Domains in Software, Default, Administrator and System.

Total shows 45506.
Protected shows 45502.

Yes, you’re all right. A recent update causes 888.com to be deleted after being added, so that immunization does not “stick”.

The same here, but I have IE7.
I tried to UNcheck the files and re-tried to immunize without success.
I tried to Uncheck all items and re-immunize, no avail
I tried the same procedures also in SAFE mode, and no avail

36527 Protected
3 Not protected

P.S. This issue has happened after the update of today

Any suggestion is appreciated

Thanks in advance

I have the same problem as hutchinsfred (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?p=198907). After today's update, those four categories each have one unprotected item and the progress bar won't finish.
I am an administrator. I closed my browser and disabled SpywareBlaster, undid and reimmunized, and still no dice.

Like I said, it’s just a bug in a recent update that causes 888.com to be removed from the protection. They’ll fix it soon.

Unless you intend on going to 888.com or visiting sites that link to it or have ads from it, there’s no need to panic.

Edit the above:

sorted. Undid the immunisation and then re-immunised.

melboy:

Than you have some other problem. The problem being discussed in this thread involved a single entry (1 unprotected entry) in one or more of the "Domains" profiles.

What version of Spybot - Search & Destroy are you running (Spybot » Help » About)?

What is the category (profile) that is not being immunized fully?

What Windows OS are you running?

What other anti-malware or internet security software are you running?

Have you attempted to "Undo" the immunization and then "Immunize" again?
