Ran McAfee but it hung up about half way through...ran spybot, spy doctor, and deleted all the files on all of them. Here is my log...thanks to anyone who can help me clean up this thing once and for all.

Hi, thanks for your help. My desktop has been "hijacked". It has covered my desktop in red and says "Danger: Spyware" and has links to spyware fighting software. The icons still show through though. It appears that the desktop image itself was not changed, as changing it to anything else does not make the spyware warning go away.

Here is a new log after running mcafee, spyboy, and spyware doctor (which detected Look2me).

Okay it turns out the spyware was called "Raze Spyware". It covers your desktop with a red web page that says, rather obnoxiously, "DANGER: SPYWARE!"

I found the fix here:
http://forums.spywareinfo.com/lofiversion/index.php/t60868.html

Note that in all the fixes I found, this was never detected in an ewido or HJT log. Also note that though this removed the annoying message on my desktop, I doubt it was completely cleaned from my system.

Thank you for your reply, shelflife.

Also
Post a report from this tool if any files show
F-Secure Blacklight: http://www.f-secure.com/blacklight/try.shtml
Click the i accept button near the bottom of that page.
Download and run blacklite click > scan then > next, next again then exit
there will be a new txt near blacklite. post it please.
Important: If any files show Do not rename them.....legitimate files can be listed.
