I have immunized multiple times since June 7th, and can not seem to get the
Global (Hosts) files to all be protected. Each time , it shows 162 files not protected.

Da Da had the same problem (in a different thread), but he had the good fortune of the problem resolving itself. Mine has not resolved.

Is there something I can do to correct this ?

Thanks in advance !

What is your OS? What version of Spybot (HELP>ABOUT) are you using?

1. Do you happen to be using ZoneAlarm firewall?
2. Do you happen to be using Webroot Spysweeper?

Have you tried undoing the immunization and immunize again?

I am using Windows XP Pro (Service Pack 2) and Webroot Spysweeper with Antivirus . No ZoneAlarm.

Version of SpyBot S& D is 1.5.2.20 with TeaTimer

When I tried the "Undo" in Immunize, it has been running probably 30 minutes and is stuck...

Thanks again for any help you can offer.

I recall that there were some problems with SpySweeper and Spybot's immunization since both of their features are similar.

There were some threads months ago and I can't seem to find it.

However, the problem is their immunization conflicting.

Can you disable SpySweeper entirely? This includes all the SHIELDS.

I would suggest you do this when there is no online activity. Then turn off SpySweeper.

Undo Spybot's immunization then redo it. Tell me how it goes.

Glad to hear.

This might be tedious for future Spybot updates... but I would suggest you repeat the steps I suggested if the immunization does not go all the way. :cowboy:
