Hi Coulter

Rename HijackThis.exe to Coulter.exe and post back a fresh HijackThis log, please :)

Excuse my ignorance but how do I do that? I assume that it is not simply renaming the file but when I create another logfile through the software it is automatically saved as 'hijackthis'. Thank you for your patience

Hi

Just rename this:

C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\HijackThis.exe

into this:

C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\Coulter.exe, please :)

Log file will be still hijackthis.log, but that doesn't matter here :)

Thing is that infection hides certain entries and we want to unhide them.
