Please make sure you have read this information so we are on the same page.
You are infected, I suggest you keep this computer offline except when troubleshooting, the junk may download more. If you have any tool I use, delete it and download it new from the link I provide. Read and follow the directions carefully, the tools will not work unless you do.
1) This looks like a Vundo infection but you posted the HJT log twice. I would like to see the Kaspersky Online Scan (KOS) results. Once you post, I will edit one of these HJT logs.
2) C:\Users\Erin\Desktop\HJT\HiJackThis.exe <<< if you must run from the Desktop, create a folder, call it HJT and drag the log and HJT.exe into that folder. Backups for safety will also store there. See the HJT pathway for an example.

Thanks for the Kaspersky Online Scan (KOS)...
1) C:\ProgramData\Symantec\Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition\7.5\Quarantine\ <<< delete the contents of the folder in red
2) We need first to disable TeaTimer that it doesn't interfere with fixes. You can re-enable it when you're clean again:
* Run Spybot-S&D in Advanced Mode.
* If it is not already set to do this Go to the Mode menu select "Advanced Mode"
* On the left hand side, Click on Tools
* Then click on the Resident Icon in the List
* Uncheck "Resident TeaTimer" and OK any prompts.
* Restart your computer.
(leave TT disabled until we finish)
3) Remove any old copies of combofix before you proceed.

Download ComboFix from Here (http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe) to your Desktop
Double click combofix.exe and follow the prompts.

Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while its running. That may cause it to stall
Post the combofix log and a new HJT log.

Thanks for returning your information. Strange...combofix did not pick up any vundo items, we will have to try another way.
1) c:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0\ <<< check your Java program for updates, see this:

2) How to make files and folders visible:
Windows Vista
Click Start.
Open Computer.
Press the ALT key.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
Select the View Tab.
Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Show hidden files and folders.
Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
Click Yes to confirm.
Click OK.
3) Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune
http://www.atribune.org/public-beta/ATF-Cleaner.exe
Save it to your Desktop. We will use this later.
4) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

Notes for Windows Vista users from the tool creator:

Prefetch has been disabled on Windows Vista. As I'm not sure the effects that emptying prefetch on Windows Vista will have for the time being it I won't enable that function.
6) Run ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
Click the Empty Selected button.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.
7) Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop.

* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* Be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform FULL SCAN, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location. The log can also be opened by going to Start > All Programs > Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware > Logs > log-date.txt
* Please post contents of that file & a new HJT log in your next reply.

My computer seems to be doing better, only had a few popups while going through those steps which took a couple hours. I did have trouble running the Malwarebytes scan, my computer crashed a few minutes into the first two attempts. I decided the third time's a charm and ran it one more time and it made it all the way through with no problems. I haven't had any popups since the scan, although it has only been a few minutes. I did have a problem deleting all of the files from my Temp folder, there were a few it would not delete, I wasn't sure if that was a problem or not so I continued on with the steps.

Thanks for returning your information and the feedback, this is a tough infection to remove and you still have some infection in that Temp folder. I understand some old files (put there by Windows) won't delete, but you want to be sure all recent files are deleted.
Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

Restart and post a new HJT log along with your feedback.
[B]Malwarebytes <<< remember on Vista you have to be admin to run these tools. I also note the instructions:
7) Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop.
and you put it here: C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbam.exe
why don't you delete that program from your computer and save the link and instructions for using it in case you ever need it again.

FYI, your instructions did not say where to actually install malwarebytes, they only said to download the install file to my desktop, then to open and follow prompts to install, I was not aware if that was somehow implied. My computer seems to be running great, I have not noticed anything out of the ordinary since last night although I have not been home enough to use it extensively. Thank you for your continued help.
One more thing I keep forgetting - each time I restart my computer, I get an error message when Windows loads that says "Error loading C:\Users\Erin\Appdata\Local\Temp\mkrishoh/dll, The specified module could not be found"
I know that is the file that you told me to delete that is no longer there, so I am guessing that file is in my startup programs but my system can't find it, but when I go to my startup programs I don't see anything that looks like it might be associated with that file. Do you know how I can get rid of that?

FYI, your instructions did not say where to actually install malwarebytes, they only said to download the install file to my desktopOnce you download you just have to double click (single if you have it set that way) and the file will install to it's default location. Sorry I did not explain that, these are the same instructions I use all of the time.
Perhaps I need to be more detailed, these instructions were provided by the creators of the tool and I have never thought to change them.
Since all is running well, let's check with [B]Kaspersky Online Scan to make sure we missed nothing, please use these settings:
* The program will launch and then begin downloading the latest definition files:
* Once the files have been downloaded click on NEXT
* Now click on Scan Settings
* In the scan settings make that the following are selected:
* Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:
* Standard
* Scan Options:
* Scan Archives
* Scan Mail Bases
* Click OK
* Now under select a target to scan:
* Select My Computer
* This will program will start and scan your system.
* The scan will take a while so be patient and let it run.
* Once the scan is complete it will display if your system has been infected.
* Now click on the Save as Text button:
* Save the file to your desktop.
Then post it here. <<< I do not need to see a clean scan results, just let me know.
