Hi
I have downloaded spybot today and after trying to run a scan & destroy i am continually having my computer shut down part way through the operation.
It is closing down anywhere between 70,000 & 105,000 . I have run the scan 4 times and each time it has been at a different point in the scan.
Can anyone offer any advice .
The main reason that i downloaded spybot was to try and remove a spywear that was forcing internet explorer to go to a home page called about blank and then it was redirected to a spywear purchase screen and it would not allow me to to leave without either buying the softwear or shutting down internet explorer.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
