I have had this computer for a very long time. I am compltetly infected with viruses and spyware etc. I ran S and D a few times but it wanted a few files to be deleted on restart. For one, when I dont use Safemode it boots to the desktop then freezes, no start menu access no bottom bar w.e you call it access. No opening desktop files. In SafeMode I can do this but no internet. I have been using a flash drive to try everything. Here is the Hijack this log. No internet access on the infected computer in Safemode, it would probably send out all my stuff lol. I had no virus scanner active at the time of the attacks, so no defense since it expired. I installed Avast but it deleted a few, not all I bet. Tried NOD32 wouldnt install since the install program for windows is acting wierd, it wants command lines. Some programs work others dont. To think Zango.com's headquarters are a few miles away lol.

Hi

Please uninstall all but one of your antivirus programs. It's not recommended to have multiple ones running in same machine.

1. Download combofix from any of these links and save it to Desktop:
Link 1 (http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe)
Link 2 (http://www.forospyware.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe)
Link 3 (http://subs.geekstogo.com/ComboFix.exe)

**Note: It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop**

2. Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
3. When finished, it shall produce a log for you (C:\ComboFix.txt). Post that log & a fresh hjt log in your next reply

Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall

Combofix should never take more that 20 minutes including the reboot if malware is detected.
If it does, open Task Manager then Processes tab (press ctrl, alt and del at the same time) and end any processes of findstr, find, sed or swreg, then combofix should continue.
If that happened we want to know, and also what process you had to end.

If you have problems with Combofix usage, see here (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix)

I ran Combo fix and it worked but I restarted and it froze on restart since the computer can only boot into safemode to work. Otherwise it boots up and I cant open anything on the desktop and the start bar is frozen, so its useless. It takes 2 restarts to boot into Safemode too. So it never created a log but did stuff. Here is the Hijack log after I deleted all the Norton services, I cant uninstall Norton in safe mode.

Hi

Rename C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\HijackThis.exe file -> something.exe and post a fresh hjt log after renaming is done. ComboFix log should be in ComboFix.txt file. Please look for that file from your C: drive.

Hi

Uninstall Spybot for now to make sure TeaTimer won't interfere fixing. You may reinstall it after system is clean.

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (http://www.besttechie.net/tools/mbam-setup.exe) to your desktop.

Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location. The log can also be found here: C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs\log-date.txt
Please post contents of that file in your next reply.

____

Open notepad and copy/paste the text in the quotebox below into it:

File::
C:\97.tmp
C:\WINDOWS\system32\apphelpt.exe

Registry::
[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\shared tools\msconfig\startupreg\507dba25]

[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\shared tools\msconfig\startupreg\IEUpdate]

[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\shared tools\msconfig\startupreg\ntuser]

[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\shared tools\msconfig\startupreg\WinAntivirusPro]

Save this as
CFScript

http://users.pandora.be/bluepatchy/miekiemoes/images/CFScript.gif

Refering to the picture above, drag CFScript into ComboFix.exe
Then post the resultant log & a fresh hjt log.
