Installing 1.5.2

V1.5.2 wont install on my WinXPPro sp2 system. :sad:

In the pre-install it tries to download additional files from home and says it can not resolve the safer-networking address. It is trying to download some xxx.php file when this happen. :oops:

I suggest that if this is something that is required to install that it be included in the archive so that an internet connection isnt required. As it is, I am still using the previous version until this can be resolved.

Well, you could simply, during the installation, change the setup type from "Full" to "Custom" and uncheck the option to download updates right away ;)

Including the latest updates in the main download wouldn't make a lot of sense - getting the proper installer archive around to every mirror would probably mean more delay than the time till the next update ;)

The problem seems to be caused by certain firewalls blocking access to the internet without notification. The solution to this problem is to skip trying to updating during the installation and update after the installation, making sure that you authorize program SDUpdate.exe to access the internet via your firewall.
