Hi,
It was recommended that I post in this forum. Please look at the thread http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=29322 in the spybot forum and advise what solutions may be available. I was able to pull the drive and connect it as a slave to another machine with a USB enclosure. I then was able to delete the xpdx.sys file that spybot identified. I am running a McAfee scan on the drive now and then I will put it back into the original system to see if it boots ok.
Let me know if anyone has any other ideas or tools.
Thanks.
