Hello and HELP please. This is my first time posting so if I am not doing it right I apologize and please let me know HOW I should be doing it. I have the yellow and blue box on my desktop that says Warning! Spyware detected on your computer. Install an antivirus or spyware remover to clean your computer. I have read about 20 of these by googling and have run SpyBot, AdAware, and Avast. It has found some things and fixed them but I still have the problem. I cannot even boot into normal mode without hitting the escape key as a blue screen comes up with lots of writings. Someone said to download SmitFraud but then when I googled SmitFraud it said not to. Meanwhile I have installed HiJack This and have my log (which seems to be what is required) I would appreciate any and all help in resolving this problem. I am not real computer smart but also not stupid. Can you please help? Here is a copy of my HiJack This and thanks a million!

Hello Again. I don't know how long it takes for someone to read this but I wanted to report that I ran everything again (SpyBot, Avast and Adaware) and they once again removed many viruses/trojan horses, etc. and when it was done I was able to right click on the desktop and suddenly I had five tabs again (themes, desktop, screensaver appearance, settings) which then showed me that the message I am getting at start up is a picture labeled phc53gjoe1a1. Prior to running all three scans again I only had three tabs there - Themes, Appearance, Settings and it would not let me browse for any other picture. I did a search with the number 53 and found three files. The picture that was a bmp and then I found an .scr and an .exe called lphc53joe1a1 but I was only able to delete the picture and when I tried to delete the other two it said it was unable to do it :-( I noticed that most of the Avast errors were found in the localsettings\temp\ files and had various names like tt21.tmp, tt3e.tmp, tt42.tmp., tt5B.tmp (about 9 of these). During SpyBot it showed CoolWWWSearch.hjg, Microsoft.Windows.Security.InternetExplorer, Microsoft.Windows.System and Microsoft.WindowsSecurityCenter_disabled. I have *fixed* all of these on the last 3 scans but they keep popping back up. I fixed my desktop back to the way I had it and thought all was well but then I rebooted and everything was back :-( I ran another HiJackThis and got this log file.

I am getting really nervous now. I sure hope someone reads this soon. Today I went back to rerun SpyBot, Adaware and Avast. The appearance of Avast has been altered so now I am scared that something has happened to my Avast. HELP PLEASE! Do I turn off the system restore and rerun everything and then turn it back on? I know that jut coming back to the computer to check if anyone has answered is releasing the virus again. I am just stymied. :-(

Hi


1. Download combofix from any of these links and save it to Desktop:

Link 3 (http://subs.geekstogo.com/ComboFix.exe)

**Note: It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop**

2. Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
3. When finished, it shall produce a log for you (C:\ComboFix.txt). Post that log & a fresh hjt log in your next reply

Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall

Combofix should never take more that 20 minutes including the reboot if malware is detected.
If it does, open Task Manager then Processes tab (press ctrl, alt and del at the same time) and end any processes of findstr, find, sed or swreg, then combofix should continue.
If that happened we want to know, and also what process you had to end.
