Hello!!:bigthumb:

I have been searching the forum for the answer but this time I cant find anyone with the same problem but almost.

Hope this is an easy one to solve!!
Spybot search and destroy has detected an important registry entry that has been changed
Category: session manager
Change: Value added
Entry: Boot executive
Old Data: ( nothing written here)
New data: autocheck autochk *\ (The star is not a star but a little x)
And i have to decide whether to allow or deny so i decided to deny but it doesn t seem to accept that cos everytime a little window appears with registry change denied by user... and the other window pops up again

So as you can see the difference with anterior threads on the forum is that there is no delete or other words after Autocheck autock but some signs and there is no mention of the old data.

I was installing adware the other day but had to leave so i cancelled the download and it definietly isnt on my computer cos i searched for it on the computer

Should I allow the change?

Thanks in advance for your help:cowboy:

And hoping anyone out there can help!!

Hello,

Please read this information about TeaTimer:
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/faq/33.html
and http://www.safer-networking.org/en/faq/34.html
If you surf the web and without any user interaction the teatimer pops up and warns about a registry change it is better to "deny", but if you install something by yourself it is OK to "allow" the change.
The tutorial (point 8) on our homepage should also help explaining:
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/tutorial/index.html

Best Regards
