About virus hldrrr.exe

Hi.
Today I got infected with the virus hldrrr.exe. I saw some threads about that topic, and they seem really complicated. I am thinking to format and reinstall windows. The question I want to ask is if it is safe to copy to dvd some files from the harddisk (mostly songs and e-books). Does the virus infect all kind of files?

Hi

Yes, you may backup music, video, picture and e-book files. Bagle infects removable flash memories (like external usb hard drive or memory stick) so copying to dvd is ok but avoid using flash memories with the infected machine until it's completely reformated.
