I've seen that other people have had this problem as well, but to err on the side of safety, I'm starting my own personal thread. Thanks in advance for your time and assistance. I've run Spybot in safe mode and rebooted. Here is my Hijack This Log.

Open Spybot S&D then click "Help" at the top, then click About. Post for me the version of Spybot S&D you are running and just under it post the Latest detection update.

I see some junk that needs to be off your computer so let's do this and see what happens.

1) We need first to disable TeaTimer that it doesn't interfere with fixes. You can re-enable it when you're clean again:
* Run Spybot-S&D in Advanced Mode.
* If it is not already set to do this Go to the Mode menu select "Advanced Mode"
* On the left hand side, Click on Tools
* Then click on the Resident Icon in the List
* Uncheck "Resident TeaTimer" and OK any prompts.
* Restart your computer.

2) Download ResetTeaTimer.bat to the Desktop

Double click ResetTeaTimer.bat
to remove all entries set by TeaTimer (and preventing TeaTimer to restore them upon reactivation).

3) How to make files and folders visible:
Click Start > Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
Select the View Tab. Under the Hidden files and folders heading, select Show hidden files and folders.
Uncheck: Hide file extensions for known file types
Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
Click Yes to confirm. Click OK.
You may reverse this for safety when we are finished.

4) Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune

Save it to your Desktop. We will use this later.

5) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

6) Run ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
Click the Empty Selected button.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

7) Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your Desktop

* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* Be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform FULL SCAN, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location. The log can also be opened by going to Start > All Programs > Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware > Logs > log-date.txt
* Please post contents of that file & a new HJT log in your next reply.

Hey, thanks so much for your quick response. I was worried I'd have to wait several days. To give a quick history of my situation:
1. I downloaded a bad file and unzipped it, thereby unleashing viruses, malware, etc.
2. I started running spybot, adaware, and symantec av scans simultaneously (I wasn't thinking clearly) and my computer went to a BSOD (when running Adaware and symantec simultaneously).
3. My copy of symantec got corrupted and I can only download new copies when I'm on my college campus (not until August) so I'm working with AVG now.
4. I managed to get most of the "bad stuff" removed and things seemed back to normal except for two things: win32.Tiny.abk (which I think sends out mass spam e-mails) and now whenever I try to run Adaware it goes to a BSOD. Additionally my computer was running REALLY slow (especially online).
5. However, while waiting to hear back from you, I had just recently run the Malwarebyte's program (I read good things about it online) and it detected and cleaned out a lot of stuff, which might have got it before you even responded. My computer is running a lot faster now too. However, I've followed your instructions to the letter and here are the results:

Hey, so mixed news. I ran Windows Defender and it found nothing. However, when I updated and ran AVG it found something that neither I nor any of my other programs have ever seen before: "Downloader.Scagent.P" AVG found it while running the scan and put it into its "Virus Vault". However, periodically AVG will pop up and tell me that a file is infected with that same Trojan. I haven't run anything else yet but it would seem that AVG isn't able to permanently deal with this guy. It says that the infected file (on the second pop-up notification) is located in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\8c84080b.sys

This is the really confusing part though. It has identified the Process Name (under details) as C:\Program Files\Windows Defender\MsMpEng.exe

Could this be related to my original problem, a false positive, or a new piece of malware? Sorry that this turned out to be a little more complicated.
