Hi isabella1223

What kind of problems you have?

Sorry Shaba, that I didn't explain problems before,
When I am online, some pages won't open. Often the page I am on changes, to one I didn't want.
A message always pops up on logon and continually, saying that Google toolbar notifier is wanting to be in the startup menu. I've killed it in Winpatol, but it is still happening.
Now I've gotten a couple messages about Google toolbar1user wanting the same thing.
I recently had some problems logging on. I got help "flushing the dns". I've since been able to logon.
I don't seem to be able to find networks at hotspots well.
There is a high pitched noise coming from the right side of the computer.
These are my problems I don't know which apply here. Needless to say, I will need step by step instructions.
Thanks

Shaba

Hi

"A message always pops up on logon and continually, saying that Google toolbar notifier is wanting to be in the startup menu. I've killed it in Winpatol, but it is still happening.
Now I've gotten a couple messages about Google toolbar1user wanting the same thing."

Those are likely due to TeaTimer.

You can try this:

1. Run Spybot-S&D in Advanced Mode.
2. If it is not already set to do this Go to the Mode menu select "Advanced Mode"
3. On the left hand side, Click on Tools
4. Then click on the Resident Icon in the List
5. Uncheck "Resident TeaTimer" and OK any prompts.
6. Restart your computer.

"I recently had some problems logging on. I got help "flushing the dns". I've since been able to logon.
I don't seem to be able to find networks at hotspots well"

What kind of connection you have (wireless or not)?

"There is a high pitched noise coming from the right side of the computer."

Are fans running properly?
