Hi m.mishka

Right-click on SmitfraudFix.exe and click on Run as administrator
Click Allow
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press "Enter"; a text file will appear, which lists infected files (if present).
Please copy/paste the content of that report into your next reply.

**If the tool fails to launch from the Desktop, please move SmitfraudFix.exe directly to the root of the system drive (usually C:), and launch from there.

Note : process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool"; it is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.

Hi and thanks for your help. Yes, I did set those entries. I would like to thank you for your help. But the problem seems to have resolved miraculously. Previously when I scanned my computer in the safe mode with Spybot S&D, it would find ZLOB all the time, and it seemed impossible to resolve it. I just scanned it again and the infection seems to have disappeared. So I am grateful for your time and your help. Do let me know if you see anything suspicious in my logs. But the problem just doesn't seem to be there any more.:)

Hi

No, you are not 100% clean.

We need first to disable TeaTimer that it doesn't interfere with fixes. You can re-enable it when you're clean again:

1. Run Spybot-S&D in Advanced Mode.
2. If it is not already set to do this Go to the Mode menu select "Advanced Mode"
3. On the left hand side, Click on Tools
4. Then click on the Resident Icon in the List
5. Uncheck "Resident TeaTimer" and OK any prompts.
6. Restart your computer.

Open HijackThis, click do a system scan only and checkmark these:

O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {E4E8B8EA-E4C9-4DCD-B90D-AD89191AC2E5} - (no file)

O21 - SSODL: axrfgvek - {1805EAB2-2D98-4F2A-9EE5-831FE80C3AF0} - C:\Windows\axrfgvek.dll (file missing)

Close all windows including browser and press fix checked.

Reboot.

Post back a fresh HijackThis log.

Hi

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (http://www.besttechie.net/tools/mbam-setup.exe) to your desktop.

Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location. The log can also be found here: C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs\log-date.txt
Please post contents of that file in your next reply.
