Hi all. I recently ran a scan and found out I have trojan vundo. It's a tricky little trojan and does not want to come off easily. I want to try spybot before I take it somewhere and pay $75 to get it fixed but I want to know if it works ok on vundo. The files are .dll files and I have heard that some people have ran their scan and then their computer will not boot up anymore. I do not want this to happen to me. So if someone knows it will or will not work with vundo, please let me know. Thank you sincerely.

Can you run Spybot-SD and see if it detects & remove Vundo?
Can you try SAFE MODE?

When you have a tricky little Trojan that won't come off easily, it is better to wait for help before doing anything rash. Past days have told us this!! (i.e. hellzlittlespy). The last time I had a Trojan that wouldn't come off...I got stupid and ripped it right off......hency my registry was damaged and could not perform any more.:lip:
