View Full Version : WOW a lot of virtumonde problems

I had the virtumonde problem so i ended up posting in the malware removal forum or w/e but i noticed today like every 20 minutes there was a new virtumonde case. Is there something to do to stop this thing in its tracks?There seems to be so many of this crap out in peoples computers someone has to have found something to stop it? I'm pretty young and definetly not a pro at this kind of stuff so if its a lot harder than it looks to stop this kind of stuff from taking over our computers than tell me. But a guy has to wonder if there is anything to do to delete this virus permanently?

Virtuemonde seems more like a trojan than virus.
Have you run the latest version of Spybot-SD in 'Safe Mode'? If it was successful in detecting Virtuemonde, have you deleted and reboot?
Have you started a fresh thread about another Virtuemonde problem on your computer? :santa:

Yes I posted a link to his malware forum topic in post #3 above. ;)
The malware forum is very busy, our volunteers are few and victims many.
