At times when i boot up my desktop icons are rearranged, in different spots then they were previously, i am using windows vista home edition. Is this normal?
Also when I immunize my comp there are files etc that do not get immunized?
Can you tell me why this is. Just like to know.
Thanks

I hate it when that happens
not spybot
I think there is a way to lock the desktop
I'll see if I can find it

Not sure about that thought, however Windows XP OS offers an option to lock down 'web items'.
There is also an option to 'align to grid'. I think there should be an option somewhere.
bender1111, do you use a firewall? If so what kind?
Do you happen to use Webroot's SpySweeper?
Also, do you have any software that might 'lock down' the HOSTS file? What version is your Spybot-SD (Help>About).

I have AVG firewall
No do not use webroot.
Host files I don't think so?
Lastest version of Spy bot

I don't think AVG firewall can lock down the HOSTS file so we can eliminate that.
Have you right clicked on the Spybot-SD icon and "Run as Administer"?
Also, how about undoing the immunization and redoing it.
And be specific about which sections of the Immunize are not being done.
