Hi,

First of all, I have literally just updated to version 1.6.0.30 and the scan was much faster. Thanks to the team for that and for all the hard work developing and maintaining Spybot S & D, and helping users.

Having had some infection problems lately, I am very wary at the moment. Teatimer has recently been coming up with some items having values starting "SpybotDeleting" - I think always the same things - and I denied changes. Was I right to deny these changes? Here is the record of these from yesterday:

19/07/2008 14:30:14 Denied (based on user decision) value "SpybotDeletingA4294" (new data: "") deleted in System Startup global entry!
19/07/2008 14:30:14 Denied (based on user decision) value "SpybotDeletingC1997" (new data: "") deleted in System Startup global entry!
19/07/2008 14:30:15 Denied (based on user decision) value "SpybotDeletingA1726" (new data: "") deleted in System Startup global entry!
19/07/2008 14:30:15 Denied (based on user decision) value "SpybotDeletingC620" (new data: "") deleted in System Startup global entry!

Right now in System Startup are SpybotDeletingB8388 and SpybotDeletingD1628, and the ones in the list above are not there. Is this just Spybot running normally or have I got serious problems?

Kind regards,
Windy

Usually,those should be allowed.
For an explanation about those, please see:

hello,

these autorun entries are generates by Spybot S&D if it encounters files that cannot be deleted during runtime because they are locked by other processes.
C:\WINDOWS\SchedLgU.Txt
for instance is the scheduler log file and is locked by Windodws as long as it runs.
(From this thread, but the above is most relevant to you):

Spybot is just wanting to run on startup so it can fix the "locked" entries, and teatimer is just noticing those changes, and asking your permission to let them run, therefore that is why you are being prompted about the SpybotDeleting#### startup entries in teatimer,in other words.
