My computer has contracted the virtumonde virus. and i think its pretty bad. for one my hard drive is inaccesable(i go to my computer and all that's there is my documents and control panel). and it had "VIRUS ALERT!" next to the clock, but i fixed that. and it hijacks my desktop with a blue screen saying that i have a virus, and it also gives me these fake windows error messages. along with prompting me to register some sort of fake antivirus, called antivirus xp 2008, and pcPrivacyProtection, and some other one called PCPC. i have no logs at the moment. i will soon reconnect the laptop to the internet and get programs that i see are needed by reading forums (combofix, dss, ect..) i can go on the internet in my web browser, mainly because i use firefox, i dare not use IE... it hijacks that and IE just sucks in my opinion. but i need help, assistance is greatly appreciated, THANK YOU in advance for any help.

BEFORE you POST
(READ this Procedure BEFORE Requesting Assistance) (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288) ;)

Download and install TrendMicro HijackThis (http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en-US/_download/HJTInstall.exe)
* Once installed open HijackThis by clicking Start > Programs > HijackThis and click the button labeled
Do a system scan only

* Click the scan button in the lower left hand corner of the interface and HijackThis will quickly scan your system.
* Once the scan is complete the scan button will now read save log. Click this button to save the log file to your PC. Once you select where you would like to save the file it will open in your systems default text editor. Typically this application is Notepad. Post the log here.
