Hi I have run the following on my laptop, Spybot,ewido (in safe), LQfix and still command service is showing in Spybot. Here is my log.

Hello and welcome to the forum. Let's try this and in the posted order.
1) You are running HJT.exe from a .zip file in a Temporary Directory. This is unsafe as we will have no backups. That is why you received this message when you used HJT: http://russelltexas.com/malware/images/unsafefolder.gif
Please use the information in the following link to place HJT in a permanent, safe folder, I prefer C:\HJT\HijackThis.exe. If you need additional instructions use these: http://russelltexas.com/malware/createhjtfolder.htm
2) I see ewido onboard, open the program and choose update, allow time for it to finish. Now click scanner then complete system scan. Allow ewido to remove anything it locates unless you know it is not bad. Save that scan report, I must see it.
3) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

If you don't have a good cleaner, use this free one with these instructions:
Download CCleaner from this link: http://www.ccleaner.com/ Review the instructions http://www.ccleaner.com/help/tour1.asp
Run CCleaner, Windows & Applications when you run the registry cleaner (Issues) you will be prompted to backup before you can remove stuff, make sure you do.
Restart the computer and post the ewido scan results, a new HJT log and any comments you think will help. How is the computer running now?

Hello Dave (is it Dave?), I must say these infections rarely come out as easily as they get in. You have also picked up another infection since you posted the first log, look at the R1 area of the second log for all of the http://searchbar.findthewebsiteyouneed.com
When I scan it I am told it is some kind of CoolWebSearch infection. It is difficult to clean up an infected computer when new stuff is getting on it as we work. I need to ask you to keep this computer offline as much as possible until we have you clean.
This line: O20 - Winlogon Notify: OptimalLayout - C:\WINDOWS\system32\kpdca.dll (file missing) indicates this infection:
Winlogon Notify MS-DOS Emulation, Nls, OemStartMenuData, OfficeUpdate,
OptimalLayout, policies, Reinstall, Reliability X random named dll in the System32 folder Variant of Adware.Look2Me
Normally when a (file missing) is in the line it can be cleaned with HJT, which I scheduled. IF you checked it and followed the directions, it is still there so we will need to run a tool for it.
ran spybot again and it's still there <<< taking a guess you are talking about "command service" which is the least of your worries, believe me, I have not even run the tool to remove it yet, choosing to prioritize the infections you have instead of glitches in Spybot.
I am going to assume you have the patience to work with me in doing what needs to be doing to clean this junk from your computer. I am also going to guess what would be the best order in which to proceed since there is no manual telling me how to do so, and I would appreciate it if you would follow the instructions in the posted order and carefully as that is your best chance of success.

1) Please download Look2Me-Destroyer.exe (http://www.atribune.org/ccount/click.php?id=7) to your desktop.
Close all windows before continuing.
Double-click Look2Me-Destroyer.exe to run it.
Put a check next to Run this program as a task.
You will receive a message saying Look2Me-Destroyer will close and re-open in approximately 10 seconds. Click OK
When Look2Me-Destroyer re-opens, click the Scan for L2M button, your desktop icons will disappear, this is normal.
Once it's done scanning, click the Remove L2M button.
You will receive a Done Scanning message, click OK.
When completed, you will receive this message: Done removing infected files! Look2Me-Destroyer will now shutdown your computer, click OK.
Your computer will then shutdown.
Turn your computer back on.
Please post the contents of C:\Look2Me-Destroyer.txt and a new HiJackThis log.
If Look2Me-Destroyer does not reopen automatically, reboot and try again.
If you receive a message from your firewall about this program accessing the internet please allow it.
If you receive a runtime error '339' please download MSWINSCK.OCX from the link below and place it in your C:\Windows\System32 Directory.

If for some reason Look2Me-Destroyer doesn't reopen check that task scheduler is running.
If it isnt you can use sc.exe to start it
start>run sc start schedule press enter.
2) Download CWShredder from here: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/Popup-Ad-Spyware-Blockers/CWShredder.shtml Check for updates first if available, then choose FIX not scan only. Allow the program to run until it is finished, let it remove anything it locates.
3) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

4) Please download and unzip Ren-cmdservice to your desktop.
It will only work correctly if the folder is placed on your desktop and extracted !!.

ren-cmdservice.bat file to run the program.
A text will open when it is finished, Post it please.
Then restart the PC run spybot check for and fix any problems found.

Thanks Dave for returning the information. Your HJT log looks much better:bigthumb: there are still two lines that are clutter but should be removed. The one line which is the R1 can be hard to remove and you may have to do it in safe mode.
Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = about:blank
O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {EF99BD32-C1FB-11D2-892F-0090271D4F88} - (no file)
Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

ewido is a great program but it does use some resources. Once the trial is over you can update and use the scanner for as long as you wish, but unless you purchase it you should turn it off completely so it does not run unless you start it manually.
System Restore does not know the good files from the bad. In case bad stuff has gotten into your System Restore files, follow the instructions in this link to get clean System Restore files. Turn it off, reboot then turn it back on:

As far as your question, if I knew how to keep it off I would be counting my $$ with Bill Gates. I have to be satisfied with being about to remove it, at least some of it. The advice in the links comes from some of the sharpest minds in computer security. Let me say though that the best security, the most expensive programs will not protect you unless they are maintained and run as they should be and good, sound internet security policies must be followed. Does not do a lot of good to put great security in place then have someone open an email attachment they do not know what is.
