how many objects

Howdy,

Tonight when I finished running my scan with V1.6.0 I noticed the scan had checked 267,743 objects.

I never look that closely but I am sure it was still in the 160,000 - 170,000 range last week.

Is 267,743 the correct amount after downloading the latest update today?

Hi. There doesn't seem to be any problem. I have the same exact count as you do (Spybot-SD 1.6.0.30). What version were you using last week? It seems to me that for every update there is more entries added to the database. I've noticed today's update had one update that was a 973kb file. That was close to 1MB. That might explain the overall entry count.

The last time I really looked at the number of obects scanned was when I was using 1.5 which was right around last week and then I could have sworn it was around 160-170,000 objects.

But with that big of an update today and the new version you are probably right about that big of an increase being possible.

It's possible that Spybot-SD 1.6.0.30 detects "more" than it's previous version. Does "the more the better" apply :laugh:? Spybot-SD 1.6 scans a lot faster so it's a major improvement.
