hi guys... you helped me once before with stuff on a differnet computer and you were a big help but now i have a new computer and of course! ... a new problem. lol
the situation is this.. (im providing background because it may be related to the problem)
i recently bought a brand new computer from best buy and it came pre-loaded with windows vista... vista was locking up all the time and just being a complete hassle so my brother (who is a computer tech) uninstalled vista for me and installed XP ... now because this laptop was preloaded and made for vista there were some issues with drivers and such but i think ive fixed all of that...
my problem is now that ill be browsing online and the browser will freeze. it wont let me click on links or anything... i can minimize the browser and run like photoshop or messenger or something and that works.. and the browser will unlock itself after like 30 seconds or so but this is becoming an irritant.
also other programs will lock up ( photoshop or messenger or etc.) im thinking this maybe a malware or virus issue.. ive been running S&D and Kapersky religiously and i get detections of stuff but it never seems to fix this particular problem....
