My PC has been having slowdowns and a revving hard drive. Upon startup, TeaTimer zooms to 100% for several minutes, temporarily locking up the system. I've also had trouble with my browser (Avant), and had to revert to an older build.
I performed a Spybot search and found nothing. I ran Kaspersky, and it found AdWare.Win32.SearchIt, but in my D: drive which is the factory-made restore partition. I've never used or modified it in any way.
Also, Avast keeps prompting for several copies of a file called bae.dll - which I think is a false positive, since the files haven't been modified since 2006 according to the info Avast gives me.
Advice, please?
