Help!! Antivirus 2009/Zlob.ZipCodec [Archive]

I was attacked last weekend by the Antivirus 2009 bug. With the help of a support tech from Avast, I have tracked down and removed several files that seem to have been involved, but Spybot-SD seems to indicate that there may still be problem. Can anyone help me find and remove Zlob.ZipCodec?

You have an extremely outdated version of Spybot-S&D which is no longer supported.

Also the definitions showing are from 2007. :eek: The version of HJT is not the one requested. ;)

Wow, no wonder I'm having problems. I downloaded an update before I scanned today, and I downloaded and installed HJT on Monday. I'll try again tomorrow, re-post if that doesn't cure the problem. (I did read "before you post," too, must have missed something.)

Tashi, thanks for telling me what I should have noticed, but didn't. My SB-SD log was telling me that it was obsolete, but I didn't believe it because I had just downloaded an update.

Once I installed that update :oops: , SB-SD found and five various infestations. All scans now report "No Problems Found."
