Hi,

I'm not an expert in this kind of thing, but yesterday Spybot S&D told me that Virtumonde had got onto my system. Spybot removes it, but every time I turn the computer on it comes back. Additionally, I get annoying pop-ups when I use Internet Explorer. Therefore using my ZoneAlarm firewall, I have disabled IE until this is sorted out and am using Firefox.

I have looked at others with this problem, and the first thing they appear to do is use Trend Micro HijackThis, and then they post the log. So here it is:

I would just like to thank in advance whoever it is who helps me, I really do appreciate it

Hello khawaja

Welcome to Safer Networking.

Please read Before You Post (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288)
That said, All advice given by anyone volunteering here, is taken at own risk.
While best efforts are made to assist in removing infections safely, unexpected stuff can happen.

Do this first...Important

Disable the TeaTimer, leave it disabled until we're done,

Run Spybot-S&D in Advanced Mode.
If it is not already set to do this Go to the Mode menu select "Advanced Mode"
On the left hand side, Click on Tools

Uncheck "Resident TeaTimer" and OK any prompts.
Restart your computer.<--You need to do this for it to take effect
