unrequested music plays "dxtxfst.sys" ?

Problem: every few minutes unauthorized internet access occurs and a short, maybe 10 seconds, of music plays. Zonealarm has identified "abceddes" is trying to access the trusted zone by application "dxtsfst.sys" as the responsible program doing this. There is an entry under system32 directory for dxtsfst.sys I am hesitant to just delete that file. I have run spybot 1.4 but it did not identify this problem.

Before I run a hjt log and ???, I though posting this might result in a more focused approach in view of the above known information.
