It was just recently that I dowloaded the beta version of teatimer. With this version, I am able to see what processes it is scanning. What I found out was that teatimer scans the process my antivirus avira is starting when it tries to start a scan and teatimer does dis repeatedly until the two have taken over my cpu at 100%. I found about this through the info balloon of the beta version of teatimer and by observing my task manager. Here's an overview:
1.teatimer scans running processes
2.avira starts a scan (not sure but can it be that it scans what teatimer is doing?)
3.teatimer scans the process avira started.
4.avira starts another scan
5.teatimer scans avira again
and on and on and on....
It's not always like this. It just suddenly happens and every time it does, I have to reset my computer.
