View Full Version : S&D finds MyWay.MyWebSearch but cant remove it

My comp slowed down about the same time as I in stalled my spare monitor when the old one died . On the same day spybot found MyWay.MyWebSearch during the scan but cant remove it . Also at about the same time I kicked out my ex-friend who was crashing at my house for looking at illeagle stuff while on my comp . I dont have a clue if any of these things are causing the problem or why my comp slowed down . here is the hjt report . HELP PLEASE :buried:

hi BaneSky,

1)look in add/remove programs panel for anything called mywebsearch, uninstall if present.
2)look in C:/program files and delete the mywebsearch folder if present


before using hjt please disable or shutdown:

Spyware Terminator Realtime Shield Service
just in case it interferes with the changes hjt will try to make,
iam not familiar with it so cant tell you how, click the icon by the clock for options

start HJT, click the "Scan" button. check the items below, close any open windows, then click "Fixed checked"
