Greetings all... (New To This Forum - First Posting!)
I was infacted with Antivirus XP 2008 this past Saturday and
didn't know that it was such a universal problem until I searched the
topic online. After trying several programs, I turned to my trusty
Spybot program...(Should have ran Spybot first)...It worked for me.
Spybot got me back to normal. Because of this infestation, I began to look closer for other silent viruses and actually watched the files being
scanned by Spybot and saw many scary files including the names above and many more. Virtumonde took a long time for Spybot to scan through the file
so I know it's a big trojan. My system works well, but a llittle slow at times.
I use this computer for personal finance, i.e. Quicken, so I'm concerned about key-loggers and back-door trojans, etc.
Please advise as to what I need to do next...How do I run the logs and submit to you for review...Oh, I did download MalewareBytes and ran it...It found several trojans and deletd them.
