Hi.I have a Windows 98 SE old PC.I have Spybot 1.4 on it since I could not update it to the last 1.5 version because I got it in an update and even though I downloaded it, did'nt install.

Well, now I don't know what to do.The latest updates include the new main application update (spybot 1.60) and the Teatimer update 1.61 which I don't use since it started to have a lot of problems.

Does Spybot 1.60 works on my system? What are the system requirements?

Should I download it? Should I download the new Teatimer which I'd like to use if it doesn't have any more problems?

What if it does not install by itself like the last time? What to do?

Thanks in advance for your help in this.

Yes, Spybot-SD 1.6.0.30 is available through the Integrated Updater in Spybot.

Also, Spybot-SD 1.6.0.30 (latest) is fully function from Windows 95 through Windows Vista.

Yes, you should download the latest version because (the newer version):
-Has a faster scanning time
-Ability to Immunize newer browsers such as Mozilla Firefox 3.x and Opera 9.5.x

Well the TeaTimer Resident Shield will vary. It will depend if it's memory usage is suffice for the system resources. I have to tell you, TeaTimer's memory usage on average is around 38-45MB. So if you have the sufficient system resources feel free to install TeaTimer too.
