virtumonde, disabled auto updates

Hi. I have run spybot, rebooted and reran spybot (multiple times over the past week), and virtumonde, virtumonde.dll, and virtumonde.prx keep reappearing. Unsolicited webpages pop-up, and I am unable to get windows automatic updates to actually update. Spybot gives me the Microsoft.windowssecuritycenter_disabled result, yet enabling auto updates does not make a difference, nor does it work once I re-enable it. I have used spybot to immunize my computer. I am also getting a rundll error. I am guessing that these issues are all related?

Make sure you read and follow the directions, anything else will slow the process and waste both of our time.
I suggest you keep this computer offline except when troubleshooting, the junk may download more. If you have any tool I use, delete it and download it new from the link I provide. Read and follow the directions carefully, the tools will not work unless you do. This can be a tough infection to remove so do not expect fast or easy.

You have a Vundo infection and there may be more bundled with it that we can not see. Before we start, I will show you this from Spybot:

1) C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_03\ <<< Your Java program is VERY BADLY out of date and likely why you are infected, see this:

It can be difficult to update from that old of a version and I suggest you do so as soon as possilbe.

2) We need first to disable TeaTimer that it doesn't interfere with fixes. You can re-enable it when you're clean again:
* Run Spybot-S&D in Advanced Mode.
* If it is not already set to do this Go to the Mode menu select "Advanced Mode"
* On the left hand side, Click on Tools
* Then click on the Resident Icon in the List
* Uncheck "Resident TeaTimer" and OK any prompts.
* Restart your computer.
(leave TT disabled until we finish)

A word of warning: Neither I nor sUBs are responsible for any damage you may have caused your machine by running ComboFix on your own. This tool is not a toy and not for everyday use.

3) Remove any old copies of combofix before you proceed.

It is important that it is saved directly to your Desktop.

Download ComboFix from Here (http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe) to your Desktop

Double click combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log and a HiJackthis log in your next reply

Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while its running. That may cause it to stall

Post the combofix log and a new HJT log.

Hi. Thank you so much for your reply. I have read "before you post." The links you sent are very informative. Unfortunately, my computer crashed after I sent the original post. When turned on, the computer starts to boot up, then automatically shuts down and restarts, then continues this cycle until I finally turn it back off completely. If you can still help me, that would be great! But, I don't know how to get to spybot (or anything else for that matter) at this point.
