I have read your 'Before posting' section, and believe I am not breaking your rules. This is an older machine that is windows XP SP2, that I did not update to SP 3 since I read that it should be clean first. In fact, until this recent education from your site, I am really just doing nothing to the machine without your hopeful assistance. I have been on P2P networks but am willing to abandon their somewhat questionable usefulness. So you will see their evidence. This is my first time on your forums or need of assistance. I was also willing to even consider updating to Vista, but also didn't dare with the sudden invasion of malware I cannot rid myself of. I am a paying user of Trend Micro, however it, by itself, does not seem to be able to cure the system. Thank you, in advance, for any assistance in this matter.
