framedyn.dll error

I am running Spybot version 1.6 on win xp pro sp2.

Whenever I launch the program, I get the message "can not initialize, framedyn.dll is missing". Then the program still runs and is usable. If it has to reboot before removing something, it will not finish removal because of that error.

I have already tried what it says on the microsoft page. I have also tried reinstalling a few different times and versions of spybot.

It is only happening on one of my three pcs.

You already have three threads in the Malware removal forum concerning this problem, two on the 21/8/2008 and one on 22/8/2008. Once you post into that forum it is a matter of waiting until an expert can assist you, and starting another thread in this forum will not shorten the process, it just helps to confuse things.

I know it is difficult waiting when you have a problem but as you can see the Malware Removal forum is very busy at the moment.
