During install, the following message pops up

"Unable to execute file
C:/Program Files/Spybot-Search & Destroy/SDWinSec.exe

CreateProcess failed; code 740
The requested operation requires elevation"

I had reinstall the program on Vista several times and it still the message pops. I also noticed I can't right click and check individual files anymore. Can someone help.

Hello, captcha.

Right click on the Spybot installation file (.exe) and click "Run as Administer". You'll have a successful installation.

It ran smoothly...However, I still cant check each individual file by right clicking on it. It doesn't show that option.

The integrated single-file scanning (Windows Explorer) function is Spybot was available for the User to install during the installation.

As far as I'm aware of, I'm afraid you'll have to reinstall Spybot-SD again.
Spybot should retain it's settings though.

It should say something like "integrated Explorer scanning function" or something of that kind. It is not ticked by default.

Does not install?

I've found the installation setting:
Explorer file scan plugin (in file context menu) (1.4MB).

Can you choose any file and right-click and click "Scan with Spybot-Search&Destroy"?

Oh
I was looking for scanning in which I would click properties and there would be a tab for spybot and it would do the heuristic and the other scan.

When installed, the right-click scanning feature does is not integrated into the "Properties", but the right-click context menu.
