Long ago, I downloaded a nifty free program that had no means of visible financial support. No pro version or upgrades for $$, no trial period. I later discovered that the program was an early version of spyware, before the term was ever coined. The company was honest enough to confirm this fact and I promptly dumped got it off my machine.
Revo Uninstaller seems to be totally free and there is no mention of any upgrade or other version for $$, and there are no other products the company offers. When I go to its home page, it comes up blank -- no content, zero.
Finally, the publisher has not responded to my reply my question asking "What's in it for you?"
So naturally, I'm suspicious of the product and wonder if anyone here has analyzed the code.
