Hi,

I made the huge mistake of installing cyberdefender on my pc. I uninstalled it but there is still this annoying browser hi-jacking that I can't get rid of. This is what happens: If you type anything in the address bar of IE with the page currently in, let's say Yahoo, it redirects me to a new search engine called "MyIdentityDefender" with all the search result links. I can't get rid of this. Neither Cyber defender nor MyIdentityDefender are in my Add/Remove programs list. I called Cyber Defender and they tried to blame it on malware on my pc. I told them that it was THEIR malware and I need to get rid of it. They wanted to transfer me to one of their technicians and charge me for it. Wow, what a scam. Can anbody help me remove this?

This is the address of the new web page that I am being directed to:
http://ws.infospace.com/cyberdefender_EDC/ws/results/Web/rcu/1/417/TopNavigation/Relevance/iq=true/zoom=off/_iceUrlFlag=7?_IceUrl=true

Things I've tried:
-Hijackthis.
-Spy Bot latest version.
-Combofix

Thanks,
Joe
