Hi, I'm new here,
I have a long standing problem with ads not displaying on some websites, notably, Yahoo and Amazon (see attached screenshot Amazon adnoshow1.zip). The problem area in this shot is on the right. When the properties of this area are found from a right click over the area, the screenshot at Amazon.zip shows the URL. Does the address indicate spyware or another problem. I have Spybot 1.5.2 which was installed when the computer was new before I took delivery. Since then I have added Adaware and AVG antispyware. When I showed these screenshots to the shop that built the computer they just said it was spyware so I assumed Spybot was doing this.
Ocassionally the many ads on MSN come up with similar messages but a page reload makes the ad display OK.
It's not a big deal, but having used new computers today where I work there are no such problems. My PC is only 6 months old running Windows XP Home SP3.
Thanks alot in advance.
