Continuous problems with several Trojans

I have these Trojans, that no matter what software I use to scan and clean them up with, they continually come back. The minute I get on the internet...bam. I will list them for you if this is ok! They are being detected by Windows Firewall. My settings are configured to be fairly tight on the security side of the house. I don't know what else that can be done. In my opinion this started after I installed Windows SP3 and not before. Never had these issues before. Here is my list of Trojans followed by a logfile by HJT.

Downloader.FraudLoad-Trojan.Spy.Win32.KeyLogger.aa -Trogan-Downloader.Win32.Agent.bq - Trojan-Clicker.Win32.Tiny.h - Trogan-Spy.Win32.GreenScreen - Smitfraud-C and Virtumonde. Most point to a software company.

Hi again;
Got the logs as requested. Seems my latest issues went away for the most part. Last MWB scan I gave you I deleted many files found from MWB's. Around 15 if I can remember, maybe more. I lost Administrative Rights/Priveliges. Went to Safe mode to creat New Acct. as Administrator. Temp fix for now. Here you go!

thanks for the info. we wil use hjt, then boot into safe mode-- but first disable spybots tea timer so it will allow the changes hjt will make. how?

1. Run Spybot-S&D in Advanced Mode.
2. If it is not already set to do this Go to the Mode menu select "Advanced Mode"
3. On the left hand side, Click on Tools
4. Then click on the Resident Icon in the List
5. Uncheck "Resident TeaTimer" and OK any prompts.
6. Restart your computer.

to help show all files you can do this:

FOr XP: on the desktop double click my computer,at the top click on> tools>folder options>view> then select "show hidden files and folders", then UNcheck "hide protected operating system files " also UNcheck "hide extensions for known file types" click apply to all folders, apply then ok

you might copy/paste this part into notepad and save it so you can read it in safe mode. to reach safe mode you would tap the f8 key during a computer reboot. looks like you already know how to do it anyway.

once in safe mode:
navigate to:
C:\Program Files
look for a folder called: ncapumd, delete if found.

navigate to:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data
look for a folder called: xwnyxqdg, delete if found.

still in safe mode you can do this also:

Click Start>Run then type %temp%
Hit OK. Delete all the files you can.

click Start>Run then type %windir%\temp
hit ok. delete all the files you can

Empty your Temp folders. Go to Start > Run and type:cleanmgr. Windows will scan. When done check these 3 and press *ok* to remove:

Temporary Files
Temporary Internet Files
Recycle Bin

reboot computer normally, rescan and post a new hjt log.

when you ran malwarebytes last time you did this?:
When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.

Didn't want to keep my old back up in case I had some crap in it.

I still can't get my Admin. Rights back. I can see Admin. Account in Safe Mode, but can't make any changes with it. This reallp ticks me off, what malware did!
Any suggestions?

hi daveusmc,

i would wait to backup to a ext. hard drive until the admin problem is fixed.
in safe mode go to start>run and type in:

control userpasswords2

chose the account to change,
then click properties
then the group membership tab
next to "other" chose the Administrators option

of course this may be what you are doing already?

Hi again,
Followed your instructions and found that Computer Admin. was already set in the proper mode. Two accounts there actually, one as a reserve with the same rights Supposedly! I still don't have all privilges though! Now I can't even get to Windows at all. Since I checked the [Comp. Adm. account default one with chess set], I went and deleted my other account...one I was told to make in SAFE MODE until I am able to restore my settings. Since I've no password set and never did, I can't get in through my Windows cd either. Just won't let me log in-no password [under repair]. I think I'm in deep ---- for now unless there's another way around this crap. I should've been able to delete my backup account anyway. This should have been no big deal. Now what, do I need to get a hold of MS Support?

no, not a good start to the weekend. you are unable to get to the xp desktop now? have you tried in safe mode :"last known good configuration" i think that close anyway.

I lost both icons, so I can't get into either boot mode. I'm screwed!
Have another drive and put XP on it. I can drag/drop to backup doc's and all...that's it. Rest of my Flightsim stuff is on ext. HD. This malware is what did it. Any suggestions? MS don't support it either. I had no password on Admi. acct., but acn't get past it-keeps asking me for one at any rate.
I think MS Support blew me off! I'm on my own from here I guess.

you should visit your computer manuf. website for possible solutions--they usually have loads of information under the support tab: troubleshooting, FAQ's and forums. you may find a easy fix, short of doing a clean reinstall (reformat).
using the search function with keywords may also display people that had the same problem.

I'm really ticked off. This malware is always from the same website. Just plain advertisement with no links, webmaster or anyone to complain to. They should be taken to court! This last one I got from thinking I was downloading an Adobe Flash Player Update! Now if it wasn't for jackasses like these folks, we wouldn't be wasting our precious time. Somebody should send all these people viruses that crash their servers.

At any rate, I will continue looking for support in the forums with Dell.
In the mean time I installed Win XP onto my other drive.

Now, I have literally weeks to restore my flight sim thanks to these people.

unfortunately there are many,many malicious websites. i think you will be in luck. Dell has good support info on there website along with a support forum. Poke around in there search engine using keywords for your issue, you will get it resolved sooner or later.
