Hi, I'm having problems with system restore after I instaled and run TuneUp Utilities 2008, not shure what happened but every time I create a restore point and the next time I turn my computer on is gone, I checked on the system restore tab and the "Turn off System Restore on all drives" is clear and the status is on "Monitoring", I don't remember what was the status before.
Also I tryed to recover any missing files using the Recovery CD and running "cmd" > "sfc/scannow but every time I try is telling me that some files that windows needs to work properly are missing and is asking me for the CD with the version of windows XP that came with the computer, wich was Windows XP Home Edition SP1; so I removed the SP3 and now is asking for the CD with windows SP2, but even when I have that CD is telling me that the CD is not the right one.
Any HELP would be appreciated, THANK YOU !!!!!!!!
