In order for "tea timer" to run,,does spybot have to be in the advanced mode at all times??

spybot can be in basic mode and teatimer can run fine. Although if you want to disable teatimer, you would have to put spybot in advanced mode and click tools-resident--to turn teatimer off and/or back on. :) Hope that helps!

Thanks,,for some reason I thought tea timer would only run in real time if you were in the advanced mode. I did enable it when I first d/l'ed the program.

Hi,

Not exactly the same problem, but...
I have several accounts active on my computers. I want TT to always run, but some of the users are not familar with IT issues and are confused by TT pop-ups.
Is it enough, if I enable TT on an admin account, so it always runs and blocks changes?
Then I would see all the information while logged in as an administrator, which is enough for me.

Thanks for help.

I have teatimer running on admin accounts, but i do not have it run on limited user accounts due to the fact that users would not know how to respond to the pop ups. Also, limited user accounts are not as vulnerable to security threats. So to answer your question, yes that should be enough :)

PS: for the future, please create your own thread. thanks! :)
