I Updated SpyBot. I used it manually to search and destroy, all worked it seems.

Now, every booting of my PC starts with two consecutive dialogs:

1) "Instruction in 0x00b80300 makes reference to memory. The memory cannot be read.
TeaTimer.exe application Error.
It has been produced the unexpected exception form program (0x0eedfade) at address 0x7c812a7b

2) Exception EOutOfResources in module TeaTimer.exe at 000468FC

Whaa isss daaa? (excusme my anglo-spanish, but that is the face it makes put every time I turn on the machine).

Pentium III(sic)!, WsXP, 256 Mb mem, FireF, Unavoidable IE (does it updates even if I ask not to when updating the rest of XP?), avasti, addbloc, and SpyBot that is all I have.

So you are running Spybot version 1.6?
Please click on your TeaTimer icon in the system tray and tell us which version the TeaTimer has.
Do you have admin rights?

Glad to read you Sandra.

The only TeaTimer icon I found was at the Spybot Folder (Programs,....,Spybot)
Properties.
Version 1.6.2.23
Creation 18 March 08, Mod the same, Last access 23 Aug 08.
The only new thing I find at start-programs is the shredder (with an empty list).

If that helps, at address 0x7c812a7b it's a stack operation that makes it fail.

After an update, immunization, search and destroy working fine, the same begining messages of TeaTime exceptions.

Well, computer 840 Mhz, 256 MB mem, try to know why it's getting much slower and solve Spyboty prob.

For a save complete remove, all clear "in how to uninstall", except for the unexisting program, recommended there, to download "this very small fix (online link)" which is not an exe but a listing of registries, to erase(gulp!)?.

And the bigger question is
how more memory and how slower would it become to my cracking ol'machine with a new spybot download vs the one I have (which at least seems to work on the "search and destroy") ?

Well all this is in the mean time some good elbow, reliefed after solving core problems decides to distract with this little pain, ..., to whom I owe a lot of thanks in advance.

About my TeaTimer:
Version 1.6.0.3.0
System setting protector 1.3.2.23

My O.S. is Windows XP SP2 (2002)
And my computer is a Pentium 4 CPU 3Ghz (Dual) and 512MB of RAM.
I usually use Firefox version 3.0.1.

I got the message on two consecutive startups.

I had a strange virus issue two days ago (resolved... i think) and installed Adobe Acrobat 9. I don't think that they're related because i've had several reboots since then with no problem, until now.

Also, teatimer works if i start it manually after startup.

Coulnd't reproduce it, but we might have something to test there very soon.
