Do you have an explanation (... or a fix) about this problem of multiple new accounts on Windows 2000?

Same problem on a french forum:

*- install with Administrator account
*- all limited accounts disappeared
*- new limited accounts were created, named "oldname.machinename" but they don't use settings from "oldname" accounts
