deleted s&d startup by mistake

Hello,

I accidentally deleted Spybot's startup entry and the registry file. I went into the advance settings to reset it but, now when it starts, it doesn't show up in the system tray, but rather as if I went to program files and started it, and requires me to allow it to run before it starts.

System Start:
[x] Automatically run program at startup.

Is that correct?

No.

The system tray icon is associated with TeaTimer.exe not Spybot's main executable SpybotSD.exe. To get TeaTimer to execute when you logon:
Go into Spybot » Mode » Advanced Mode » Tools » Resident.
Under the heading "Resident protection status", check this item: Resident "TeaTimer" (Protection of over-all system settings) active.
