Spybot Crashing

I'm having a problem that I can't resolve and hoped someone could give me some insight.

Whenever I click to run spybot 1.5 or 1.6 (tried both) I get an immediate BSOD
with STOP 0x00000050 Page fault in nonpaged area

I have run scans with AVG8 and trend micro in safe mode and they come up clean. Adaware also comes up clean. I have used Hijack this and cleaned up a few things but to no avail. Also scanned with malwarebytes which is coming up clean.

All windows updates are in including SP3. (XP home 32bit)

No problems with any other software but I cannot run spybot in safe or normal mode.

Has anyone experiences this issue? Software conflict?

Any input would be appreciated

1.) Have you tried a uninstall and then reinstall?

2.) When did this start appearing?
ie. on first install, when i installed a update, etc.

PS: its very odd you could not run spybot in safe mode or normal....I hope we can figure this out!
