Browser Results Hijacked plus...

[nothing but questions]

TWO Problems that may be related:
#1 Hijacked Search Results - both Google and Yahoo
#2 all IE7 internet pages have shifted left leaving no margin instead of centered as before and computer now very slow!

Updated all software
Ran AVG AntiSpyware it finds downloader.agent.cnn and quarantines but they return on reboot.
Ran SPYBOT in Safe Mode – found nothing

Make sure you read and follow the directions, anything else will slow the process and waste both of our time. I suggest you keep this computer offline except when troubleshooting, the junk may download more. If you have any tool I use, delete it and download it new from the link I provide. Read and follow the directions carefully, the tools will not work unless you do.
The junk can be tough to remove, so do not expect fast or easy.

Hard to tell what is happening on this computer, there is no malware showing in HJT, but we can start like this.

1) C:\Program Files\Viewpoint\Common\ViewpointService.exe
For your information, Viewpoint is installed by aol probably without your knowledge. I suggest you uninstall this resource waster in Add Remove programs.

2) C:\Program Files\Grisoft\AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5\guard.exe <<< uninstall this out of date program. Where are you getting updates?

Once you have AVG 8 installed, update the program and scan your system, post the results. You will be able to save the log at the bottom of the interface.
