Updating Spybot 1.6 crashes my computer.
I installed Spbot 1.6 a few weeks or more ago, did a scan, and it worked fine. Now it will not allow me to get any updates. It tells me there was an illegal operation and then the computer won't do anything; I have to turn it off and back on. I reinstalled 1.6 today and have the same problem -- not allowed to update; says program has performed an illegal operation. I have Win 98.
(Also, I am very naive about forums and if I am not posting correctly, please let me know and tell me what I should be doing and I'll do my best to comply.)
