Hi,

of all places this is the last place I wanted to infect. I've read other posts so I've gone ahead and downloaded some programs in advance. In case I need them. Hijackthis, ATF-Cleaner, and ComboFix. Please I need help, the last thing I want is to go to IT and have them format the laptop.

Thanks in advance for the help. Whatever else is needed let me know

Hello monchito7,

Our forum policy is that we just fix home computers, what you really need to do it take this to your IT Department and have them fix it.

This is just a suggestion and I am by all means not telling you to do this but if this was my computer this is what I would do.

Open HijackThis > Do a System Scan Only, close your browser and all open windows including this one, the only program or window you should have open is HijackThis, check the following entries and click on Fix Checked.

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: Rundll32.exe "C:\WINDOWS\system32\xbmaidvj.dll",s
