Computer infection - Vundo??? [Archive]

I'm having major problems with my computer. It's doing all sorts of weird things and is moving very slowly. I have McAfee Virus Scan, which detected Vundo but for some reason only quarantined but did not remove the files. I ran Spybot and it found and removed a bunch of things, but rescans still showed Vundo, then Spybot froze. Below is the HJT log. Thanks for the help.

I forgot to include in the original post that Windows Update won't turn back on. I keep getting the windows security alert icon in the taskbar with a note saying my computer might not be protected because automatic update is turned off. I've attempted to turn it back on through Automatic Updates in Control Panel and through services.msc but neither worked. I also tried downloading updates from the Windows site, but that too failed. The alert that auto update was turned off was my first indication that I had a problem with my system. Thanks.

All advice given is taken at your own risk.
Please make sure you have read this information so we are on the same page.

Make sure you read and follow the directions, anything else will slow the process and waste both of our time. I suggest you keep this computer offline except when troubleshooting, the junk may download more. If you have any tool I use, delete it and download it new from the link I provide. Read and follow the directions carefully, the tools will not work unless you do. The junk can be tough to remove, so do not expect fast or easy.

You have at least a Vundo infection, before we go after it I would like to search to make sure Smitfraud is also not present. Follow these directions:

1) We need first to disable TeaTimer that it doesn't interfere with fixes. You can re-enable it when you're clean again:
* Run Spybot-S&D in Advanced Mode.
* If it is not already set to do this Go to the Mode menu select "Advanced Mode"
* On the left hand side, Click on Tools
* Then click on the Resident Icon in the List
* Uncheck "Resident TeaTimer" and OK any prompts.
* Restart your computer.
(leave TT disabled until we finish)

Search:
Double-click SmitfraudFix.exe
Select 1 and hit Enter to create a report of the infected files. The report can be found at the root of the system drive, usually at C:\rapport.txt

Note: process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool". It is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.
