virtumonde help!!

Spybot found virtumonde and webhancer. I was able to remove webhance but I can not remove virtumonde after repeated reboots. It keeps coming back. I do not have any problems with popups. However, since I became infected my computer runs super super slow and sometimes does not locks up during start up. Something also keeps trying to access the internet even when the ethernet is disconnected. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please make sure you have read this information so we are on the same page.

Make sure you read and follow the directions, anything else will slow the process and waste both of our time. I suggest you keep this computer offline except when troubleshooting, the junk may download more. If you have any tool I use, delete it and download it new from the link I provide. Read and follow the directions carefully, the tools will not work unless you do.
The junk can be tough to remove, so do not expect fast or easy.

I see no antivirus program running on this computer? It is cyber-suicide to go online anymore without one, and it is also a waste of my time and yours cleaning a computer that will just reinfect. What are you thinking? If you need a free antivirus program, let me know and I will post links to three to choose from.
